Owners are permitted to plant flowers and shrubs in mulched (non-common) areas of the Townhome. All landscape materials installed by Townhome Owners must be maintained by the homeowner. The landscape contractor and the Association are not responsible for damage to flowers and landscape materials installed by homeowner.
Homeowners are required to keep their non-common area mulched, weeded and trimmed. A list of approved mulch materials can be found on the BRSTHA website. BRSTHA will trim the non-common area bushes unless the homeowner opts out of that service.
BRSTHA had a program to allow homeowners to plant no more than three additional trees in the common area adjacent to their townhome. Replacement of those trees, or any additional trees planted through an approved ARC process, are the financial responsibility of the homeowner.
The Homeowner is responsible for repairs of any damage to landscape and Common Areas which they have caused.
Homeowners are prohibited from placing any items or plantings in the common area including, but not limited to, trees, bushes, or flowers without and ARC approval.
