The following are strictly prohibited:

• A Building and/or structure on the Common Area property, including, but not limited to, benches, any tent, shed, swimming pool, pet enclosure, gazebo, flagpole (except for displaying the U.S. Flag), basketball backboard, clothesline, batting cage, or children’s play equipment
• Fencing
• Advertising Signs or For Sale/Rent Signs
• Landscape Signs, contractor’s advertisement signage
• Permanent Screening
• Storage Sheds of any kind
• Storage of equipment, woodpiles and storage piles
• Commercial activities of any kind

• Obstructions or Landscape Plantings that may alter proper drainage flow or direction are not permitted to any Townhome or Common Area. (Article XIII, Section 13.08)
• Home offices only are permitted; no commercial activity or business may be operated out of any home. (Article XIII, Section 13.10)
• Activity that may be noxious or offensive to owners, by owners, residents or visitors, is not permitted. (Article XIII, Section 13.03)
• Any activity that may be or become a violation of the Governing Documents is not permitted.
• Clutter (toys, bikes, etc.) may not be left on the Common Area overnight. (Article XIII, Section 13.13)
• Exterior Architectural Changes require the review and prior written approval of the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) and Board of Directors. (Article XIII, Section 13.14)
• Common Area use, maintenance and operation may not be obstructed, damaged or interfered with by any Owner or Occupant. (Article XIII, Section 13.18)
• Nothing shall be done or kept in or on a lot that will increase insurance rates of the homeowner or Association. (Article XIII, Section 13.19)
• Barbecues, grills and fire pits are only to be used on decks and concrete areas, not within garages or the Common Area.
• Garage sales are permitted but must conform to Village of Mokena guidelines upon prior written approval of the Board of Directors.
